A quick recipe for busy mom, great for weekday dinner. Best when served with rice.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground lean ground
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves chopped garlic
oil
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
salt & pepper to taste
1 potato, diced
1 carrot, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup cooked green peas
Saute` garlic and onion in a little oil and add ground beef. Let it simmer till the beef is well cooked. Season with tomato sauce, salt and pepper and sugar. Add carrots and potatoes, after a minute mix in the bell pepper and green peas.
